Social trading with wikifolio.com – the alternative to traditional financial products

On wikifolio.com private investors as well as asset managers may publish their trading ideas as wikifolios. If there are enough supporters showing interest in the trading idea, the idea can be depicted in an open-ended index certificate (wikifolio certificate) of Lang & Schwarz Aktiengesellschaft in Düsseldorf, in which the investor can invest directly. You can then partake in the performance.

The performance ratios, all trades, the current fictive specimen securities deposit and comments from traders can be viewed at any time in a transparent and compressible fashion without registration on wikifolio.com.

What is a wikifolio?

A wikifolio is a trading idea published by a trader and presented in a dynamic specimen portfolio. The trader can draft comments for this purpose. If there are 10 supporters for a wikifolio, the trader's idea can be depicted in an open-ended index certificate (wikifolio certificate) of Lang & Schwarz Aktiengesellschaft in Düsseldorf. Each wikifolio certificate has its own securities identification number (WKN) or ISIN and can be listed on the Stuttgart Stock Exchange and traded over the counter via Lang & Schwarz.

How are wikifolio index certificates collateralized

TEAM Treuhand GmbH was appointed by Lang & Schwarz Aktiengesellschaft to act as a trustee on behalf of the wikifolio holders under a trust agreement dated 20 February 2017. In a security agreement, also dated 20 February 2017, between Lang & Schwarz Aktiengesellschaft, Lang & Schwarz TradeCenter AG & Co. KG and TEAM Treuhand GmbH, the financial liabilities towards the wikifolio holders under the wikifolio index certificates sold were secured by pledges over

(a.) securities which were acquired on the basis of the wikifolio index certificates sold,
(b.) current account balances held at third-party banks, and
(c.) the balance of the current account credit in current accounts at the principal bank HSBC Trinkaus & Burkhardt AG.

You can find further information on how the wikifolio index certificates are hedged in the current report on the audits carried out by TEAM Treuhand GmbH.
